Chong Allen

ALLEN, Chong Hui - Age 76, of Fenton, died May 3, 2018. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday. May 7, 2018 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. SIlver Lake Rd., Fenton. Interment will be held at 1:30 PM Monday at Christian Memorial Cemetery in Rochester Hills. Visitation will be held 2-6 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Pearl S. Buck International (www.pearlsbuck.org). Chong Hui was born June 5, 1941 in Seoul, Korea, the daughter of JungYul and Sung Nhyun Cho. She retired from Webasto after 25 years of service and was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. Surviving are: son, Chan Ho "Joe" and wife, Stacey Allen of Fenton; three grandchildren, Jimmy Allen, Kenny Allen, and Hannah Allen, all of Fenton; three siblings, Joyce "Unhe" Dorland of Rochester, SulHee Kim of Korea, and Kyung Ho Cho of Rochester; life-long friend, Jim Murphy; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Robert N. Allen; mother, Sung Nhyun Cho; sister, YunHee Shin; brother-in-law, Arthur Dorland; and niece, Susan Kim.
