Chester O'Brien

O'BRIEN, Chester Dalton- Age 86, of Corunna, died February 20, 2017. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Friday February 24 at Sharp Funeral Homes Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Burial in Crestwood Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will take place 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society or Shiawassee Hospice House. Chester was born June 21, 1930 in Swartz Creek, the son of George and Hila (Dennis) O'Brien. He married Margaret Faye O'Brien in Indiana on March 28, 1953. He was a truck driver for over forty years and was a member of the Teamsters Union. He loved playing golf and billiards. He was a loving husband and the world's greatest Dad. He is survived by his wife, Margaret; children, Lucy (David) Cooper, Bethany O'Brien, and Kirk (Janis) O'Brien; grandchildren, Jason O'Brien, Shannon (Dave) Thomas, Rachelle (Matt) Henney, Roni (Jeremy) Henney; twelve great grandchildren; brothers, Bill O'Brien, Harold (Arlene) O'Brien; sister, Vada (Doug) Masak, Jane (Don) Harwood.
