Cheryl Woodham

WOODHAM, Cheryl Lynn - Age 73, of Flushing, passed away at her residence, October 13, 2021. A Memorial service  will take place 3PM Saturday, October, 23, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Homes Miller Road Chapel 8318 Miller Road,Swartz Creek. Mr. Robert (Bob) Ellery officiating. Visitation 1PM until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions in Cheryl's memory would be appreciated to Autism Speaks, autismspeaks.org.

Cheryl was born March 3, 1948 in Flint, the daughter of Louis (Bob) Joseph and Betty Sue (Thompson) Ellery. She graduated from Holy Redeemer High School in Burton. Cheryl was employed for many years at Citizens Bank in Genesee County. Cheryl was a very bright and sociable person, she "could talk to anyone!" Cheryl was a voracious reader!  She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, "the harder the better!" Cheryl was a strong advocate for women's rights.

Cheryl is survived by: her daughter, Jennifer (Larry) Kleber; and her son, Aaron (Julie) Woodham; her grandchildren who absolutely adored her, Joseph Ellery Kleber, Courtney Lauren Kleber, and Katelyn Michelle Kleber; siblings, Robert (Bob) Ellery, Karen (Susie) Miller, Michelle (Mark) Ellery-McKeen; several nieces and nephews.

Cheryl was preceded in death by: her Parents, Louis (Bob) Joseph and Betty Sue (Thompson) Ellery ; and her  Life Long Friend, Cathy Weaver-Smith. Online Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
