SMEJA, Cheryl Ann - Age 68, of Fenton, formerly of Flint, died Sunday, November 12, 2017 with her family surrounding her. Scriptures and prayers were at bedside. In the summer there will be a private memorial service at her favorite beach where some of her ashes will be returned to this earth. Arrangements were handled by Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes you consider selecting a name from the upcoming Holiday Angel Tree at Fenton Medical or your local nursing home facility. Cheryl was born September 30, 1949 in Swartz Creek, the daughter of Carl and Doris (Benway) Tilden. She was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her daughter, music,singing and going to the beach to swim. She also truly loved her siblings, her son-n-law and her grandpuppies and oh how she loved her Lord! She believed in the power of prayer, love and song. "music and song were happiness". Surviving are: her daughter, Debbra (Dave) Graves; siblings, Sandy (Gary) Ezell, Kathy Gundry, and Alan Tilden; several nieces and nephews; and her "grand puppies".
