HOLTZ, Cheryl Lynn - Age 53, of Lennon, died Sunday, September 7, 2008 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, September 11, 2008 at Lennon Wesleyan Church, 11280 Lennon Rd., Lennon with Pastor R. DeWeerd Smith and Pastor Dennis Wansitler officiating. Burial immediately following at Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held 5-9 PM Tuesday and 1-4 and 6-9 PM Wednesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Cheryl Lynn Holtz Memorial Fund. Cheryl was born June 18, 1955 in Flint, the daughter of Harry J. and Betty C. (Greenlick) Wansitler. She was a 1974 graduate of Swartz Creek High School and has resided in the Swartz Creek area her entire life. She married Robert L. Holtz, Sr. January 17, 1976 in Swartz Creek. Cheryl was a member of Lennon Wesleyan Church. Surviving are: husband, Robert L. Holtz, Sr.; 4 children, Daniel Holtz and wife Hilary of Houghton, NY; Ashley Holtz of Kirksville, MO; Barbara Holtz of Flint, Robert L. Holtz, Jr. and wife Dawn of Flint, 9 grandchildren; 3 brothers, Dennis Wansitler and wife Maryann of Oak Harbor, OH, Mike Wansitler and wife Marilyn of Lennon; Rick Wansitler and wife Sherry of Flint; sister, Joan Brasseur and husband Fran of Florida; many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jason; grandson, Justin Robert Holtz.
