CRANNIE, Cheryl A.  Age 53, of Flint, died Saturday, August 13, 2005 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 10 AM Thursday, August 18, 2005 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Interment will follow at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held 3-8 PM Tuesday and 2-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Cheryl A. Crannie Memorial Fund. Mrs. Crannie was born June 5, 1952 in Flint, the daughter of John and Phyllis (Ice) Conlen. She married Gordon Crannie on September 11, 1970. Mrs. Crannie was a bartender and waitress for many years at Ethels Bar. Surviving are: husband, Gordon; two daughters, Cherisse and Carrie Crannie; granddaughter, Tayler Thompson; brothers and sisters, Bob Conlen, Shelda and husband, Mike Yambrick, Jay Richardson, Barry and wife, Wanda Richardson, Lesa and husband, Mark Robbins, Julie Richardson, Jackie Richardson; sister-in-law, Sharon Hill; many special aunts, nieces and nephews; special friend, Terri Helmer; many cousins and friends. Mrs. Crannie was preceded in death by: her father, John Conlen; mother, Phyllis Conlen Richardson; step-father, Jack Richardson; brother, Randall Conlen.
