Charlotte Strong

STRONG, Charlotte Marie - Age 85, of Swartz Creek, died Monday, August 4, 2014. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday from 4-8 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society. Charlotte was born April 14, 1929 in Flint the daughter of Hugh and Marie (Gilbert) McGlinchey. She was a graduate of Mary Crapo High School. She married Donald Strong August 11, 1951 in Flint and he preceded her in death June 26, 2003. She had resided in Swartz Creek her entire life. Surviving are: sons, Mark Strong and Michael and wife Lynn Strong; grandchildren, Ashley Strong and Cordell Strong; great grand daughter, Sophia; brother, Hugh "Butch" and wife Susie McGlinchey; sister, Barbara and husband Walt Bechtel; and several nieces and nephews.
