SHAW, Charlotte Marie - Age 73, of Swartz Creek, died August 19, 2014. Funeral mass will be celebrated 12:30 PM Monday, August 25 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton. Committal services 2 PM Monday at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 PM Sunday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, with a 6 PM vigil service Sunday. Visitation will be 11:30-12:30 Monday at the church. Charlotte was born September 18, 1940 in Oak Park, MI. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Fenton and the K of C Auxiliary. She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Surviving are: husband James "JD" Shaw; sons, James Ryan, Anthony (Pamela) Ryan, Timothy (Maureen) King, Thomas Ryan, Richard (Terri) King; step-son, Raymond (Kathy) Shaw; 16 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; siblings, Chuck, Bill, Linda, Paul, Phillip, and Patrick; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lyle Hoobler and Gertrude Deer; husbands James P. Ryan and Richard E. King Sr.; and sister Jeannie.
