Charlotte Mercer

MERCER, Charlotte E. - Age 91, of Grand Blanc, went to be with her Lord and savior Sunday, July 3, 2016. Private family services will be held at a later date. Those desiring may make contributions to Heartland Hospice, 1321 Linden Road, Flint, MI 48532. Charlotte was born May 9, 1925 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Carl and Esther (Bloom) Granstrom. She married Clarence Mercer June 18, 1949 in Chicago, IL and he preceded her in death March 15, 1993. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Pontiac and Boon Baptist Church in Cadillac. Surviving are: 4 children, Donald (Susan) Mercer of Grand Blanc, Bonnie (Richard) Pack of Holly, Duane Mercer of Grand Blanc, and James (Barbara) Mercer of Burton; 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Gene Mercer; and sisters, Dorothy Swanson and Bette Conrad. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
