Beauchamp, Charlotte E. (Horkey) -- of Standish, Michigan, formerly of Flint, died peacefully July 22, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services will be held 12 PM Wednesday, July 31 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc. ( The service will be live streamed and can be viewed by a link on Charlotte's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com) The family will receive friends from 3 PM - 8 PM on Tuesday, July 30 with a Rosary at 5 PM; and 11 AM Wednesday until the time of service at 12 PM on Wednesday July 31at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to your favorite charity in Charlotte's name. 

Charlotte was born April 12, 1937 in Flint, the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Alice (Haley) Horkey. Charlotte graduated from St. Michaels High School in Flint. She married James M. Beauchamp in Flint on June 22, 1957. They spent 63 years of a beautiful life together raising their family. Charlotte retired from General Motors AC Spark Plug, being a proud member of U.A.W. Local 651. She enjoyed many years of retirement. 

She was a member of The Resurrection of the Lord in Standish. Charlotte was more than a caregiver, she was a pillar of strength, a source of unwavering love, and a beautiful, selfless, compassionate, giving soul. Her deep care for her family was evident in every action and word. Charlotte approached life's challenges with grace and turned to her faith in God for guidance at every moment. She will be dearly missed. 

Left to cherish her memory: son, James Beauchamp; daughters, Rebecca "Beau" Barbat, Susan (Ken) Reeves; brothers, Gary (Laura) Horkey, Mike (Mary) Horkey, Alan (Shelly) Horkey, Dennis (Debbie) Horkey; sister, Roseann Owen; grandchildren, Kenny, Nicole, Keri, Rachel, Britney, Bryn, and Luke; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Haley, Kayla, Max, Maverik, Bowen, Parker, Charlotte "Charlie"; great-great-granddaughter, Willow; many other brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews; and many loved family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, James; parents, Charles and Mary Alice; daughter, Michele; brother, Charles; grandson, Tony; and brother-in-law, Raymond.
