Charles Shrable

SHRABLE, Charles C. - Age 89, of Linden, passed away February 28, 2022. Funeral services will be held 3PM Sunday, March 6, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Visitation will be held from 12PM until the time of service. Burial will take place on Monday at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Those desiring may make contributions to The Freedom Center for Missions. Charles was born July 29, 1932 in Barfield, AR, the son of Woodrow and Annie (Sauer) Shrable and was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Korean War. Mr. Shrable retired from General Motors in 1991. He loved farming and gardening. He attended the Freedom Center faithfully for over 50 years. He is survived by his wife, Mae Helen Shrable; children, Sharlia DeGrie, Kevin (Ellen) Shrable and Tony Shrable; grandchildren, Danny, David and Donovan DeGrie, Nicholas and Makenna Shrable; great-grandchildren, Christian, Brooklyn, Aneese, Penelope, Victor, Edyn and Isabella; Russell Scott Sparks, who was like a son; brother, Franklin (Marilyn) Shrable; sisters, Elnora (Bill) Perry, Rosetta Lorren, Lois (Rudy) Burrow; sister-in-law, Earlene Shrable; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
