Charles Schulz

Schulz, Charles Albert - age 95, passed away Monday, January 4, 2021.  Services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Elder Eric Wells officiating, Interment will follow in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly where military honors will be held. Visitation will be held at the funeral home 10:00 AM until the time of service.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the  Folds of Honor in recognition of his services https://www.foldsofhonor.org/

Charles was born on July 1, 1925 in Saginaw, Michigan. He was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps during World War II.

Charles is survived by his wife, Alice; daughter, Rosanne (John Cottos) Frank; sister, Alvina Sheets; two granddaughters, Jamie (Benjamin) Kittle, Teresa Schulz; grandson, Austin (Krissy) Frank; four great-grandsons, Carter Short, Joshua Kittle, Logan Kittle, Braylon Frank; three great-granddaughters, Victoria Kittle, Alina Frank, Jaidyn Short; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, Paul C. and Rose (Rightberger) Schulz, four sons, Charles A. Schulz, Jr., Thomas E. Schulz, Timothy C. Schulz, Richard L. Schulz; sister, Rose Brady; three brothers, Robert Schulz, Paul Schulz, and Elmer Schulz. He was married to his first wife and mother to his five children, the late Betty A. Schulz, for over 40 years.
