Charles Richardson, Jr.

RICHARDSON, Charles H. Jr. - Age 73, of Swartz Creek, died July 28, 2018. Services will be held 12 PM Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, Our temporary location at Hill Creek Church, 5363 Hill Rd., Swartz Creek (Mundy Township). The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Friday and from 11 AM until the time of service Saturday. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Those desiring may make contributions to Autism Speaks. Charles was born March 2, 1945 in Flint, the son of Charles H. and Marcella Violet (Galant) Richardson. Charles was a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserve. He retired from General Motors, V-8 Engine Plant. Charles was an active member of Twin Cities Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon and started the Shepherd's Class for the mentally challenged. He loved music, especially singing karaoke. He is survived by his wife, Valorie; children, Tammy (Robbie Tucker) Ryal, Bradley (Ginger) Richardson, Jennifer Richardson; grandchildren, Nicole, Andrew, Zachary, Noah; three brothers, a sister and his extended Dow family.
