Charles Vincent Price

PRICE, Charles Vincent- Age 58, of Swartz Creek, died Thursday, October 12, 2006.  Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Tuesday, October 17, 2006 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek.  Pastor Wendell Wood officiating.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until time of service Tuesday.  Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society.  Charles was born November 18, 1947 in Igloo, South Dakota, the son of Virgil and Donna (Strand) Price.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in Antarctica and the South Pole.  He married Loma Linda Ramberg October 11, 1969 in Swartz Creek.  He retired from G.M. Buick Motors after 30 years of service, was a member of UAW Local 599 and also built and flew remote control planes.  Surviving are:  wife, Loma Linda; 2 children, Tamara and husband Marty Urbaniak of St. Charles, Charles V. Price, Jr. of Mt. Morris; 7 grandchildren, Chelsea, Paige, Gabbie, Morgan, Maison, Spencer and Grant; 7 siblings, Ken, Monty, Sam, Bill, Mike, Donna and Sheila; mother-in-law, Mae Ramberg; brother-in-law, Bruce and wife Maggie Ramberg, 3 sister-in-laws, Marlene Cannon, Constance and husband Doyle Blaisdell and Sharon and husband Johnny Cole; many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, George; sister, Georgia; father-in-law, Conrad Ramberg.  The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the Doctor's and staff at McLaren Cancer Center and McLaren Visiting Nurses.  Condolences and tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
