JENNETT, Charles Robert, Jr. - age 57, of Grand Blanc Twp, died at home on Sunday, December 20, 2015, after a valiant battle with lung cancer. Charles was born January 14, 1958 in Moline, IL; the eldest child of Charles Robert, Sr. and Mabel Meryl (Cudmore) Jennett. He grew up in Davenport, IA, and enlisted in the Air Force and later the Army National Guard of MI. He married Melissa Lucile (Grunow) Crechiolo on August 6, 2003. He enjoyed a rewarding career as a senior programmer, employed most recently with Pillar Technology in Ann Arbor. He was an avid golfer and he loved watching Red Wings hockey games with his grandson, Jack, and engaging in conversations about history, politics and current events. Charles was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by: wife, Melissa Crechiolo-Jennett, who loves and misses him dearly; three children, Charles Robert, III (Marci), Jill and Rachel Jennett; three step-children, Meghan, Alyssa and Jordan Crechiolo; eight grandchildren, Nicholas, Jack, Liam, Kaia, Lukyan, Riley, Anthony and Greyson; parents, Charles and Mabel Jennett of Davenport, IA; siblings, Pam (David) Hostetter of TX, Christopher Jennett of IA, Charlaine Robin (Mike) Jennett-Dyer of IA, and Michelle (Scott) Polhamus of SC; many nieces, nephews and good friend, John Gartee. Arrangements are pending at this time.
