IKERD, Charles Anthony - age 65, of Flint, died January 2, 2021.IKERD Charles Anthony -- Age 65 of Flint died January 2, 2021. A memorial service will be held 12PM Saturday September 18 at Flint Central Church of the Nazarene, 1261 W. Bristol Road, Flint. Visitation will be 10AM until time of service at the church on Saturday September 18. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Flint Central Church of the Nazarene or the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Charles was born January 9, 1955 in Flint, the son of Charles and Nellie (Smith) Ikerd. He married Laura Chapman on October 17, 1987. Charles retired from General Motors where he was a die maker for many years.  He was a devout servant of God and his church, Central Church of the Nazarene where he was involved in Youth Groups. Charles enjoyed being with family, hunting, riding Harleys, woodworking and was a general handyman that was there for everyone. Surviving to cherish his memory are: Loving wife, Laura; two children, Jori (Jared) Arnold of Davison, Chad (Jennifer) Ikerd of Flushing; granddaughter, Adalynn Arnold; Sister, Susan (Jesse) Garcia; many nieces and nephews; and his faithful companion, Libby.
