Charles Hall

HALL, Charles Pleas - Age 78, of Swartz Creek, died Saturday, July 2, 2022.  Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek (A live stream of the service will be available on Charles obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com).  Pastor Brad Foster officiating.  Burial in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Swartz Creek.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday from 12:00 PM until the time of the service.  Those desiring may make contributions to The Masonic Pathways, 1200 Wright Ave. #1133, Alma, MI 48801.

Charles was born January 19, 1944 in Harlan County, KY the son of Ray and Julia (Mitchell) Hall.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.  He married Charlotte Ann Fry in 1966 and she preceded him in death February 26, 2014; he then married Julie Parsons July 6, 2019.  He had resided in Swartz Creek since 1976 coming from Flint.  Charles retired in 1998 as a crane operator from GM Chevrolet after 30 years service.  He was a former member of Peace Presbyterian Church.  He also was a member Fellowship Lodge #236 F.&A.M. and the Bay City Scottish Rite.

Surviving are: his wife, Julie; daughter, Susan Ramos of Swartz Creek; grandsons, Dylan, Phillip, and Tyler Ramos; step daughters, Meredith Haddock (Josh Tanner) of Swartz Creek and Lainie Haddock (Barry Richardson II) of Durand; step grandchildren, Tristan, Rowan, and Garen Tanner, Barry III and Hayley Richardson; brothers, Seymour Hall and Johnny (Theresa) Hall both of London, KY; sister, Rebecca Reynolds of Cincinnati; mother-in-law, Judith Martin of Flint; and several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by his parents; son, Eugene Hall; and sister, Dovie Hall.  Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
