EMERY, Charles I., Jr. - Age 73, a resident of Ft. Pierce, Florida, died Thursday, December 30, 2004 at Genesys Health Park. Mr. Emery was born in Buffalo, New York, December 9, 1931. He had been a resident of West Bloomfield, Michigan and the Detroit area for 50 years. He moved to Ft. Pierce four years ago. He and Eileen Moore were married in West Bloomfield, Michigan on April 23, 1978. Mr. Emery had been employed in sales with IBM and retired after 30 years of service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Korean Conflict. He had been a member of the Twin Beach Country Club in West Bloomfield. He enjoyed boating and golfing and especially his grandchildren. Surviving are: his wife, Eileen; 4 children, Steven Emery and wife Michelle of Roseville, Michigan, Meg Carman and husband Mark of Grand Blanc, Linda Simonsen and husband John of Royal Oak and Michael Mullany of Ft. Pierce. Also surviving are grandchildren, Stephanie and Andrew Emery, Anne, Richard and Susan Carman and Emma Simonsen; a brother, Edward and wife Dorothy Emery of St. Louis, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Lucille. Services will be held 11AM Tuesday, January 4, 2004 at the Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd. (just south of Hill Rd.), Rev. Steve Anderson of Holy Family Catholic Church officiating.
