Charles Michael EIDSON

EIDSON, Charles Michael "Mike" -- Age 53, of Swartz Creek, passed away Friday, December 24, 2010. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 28 at Westside Baptist Church, 5090 Pasadena Ave., Flushing. Pastor Ed Emmerling officiating. Interment will be held in Bendle Cemetery, Clayton Township. Visitation will be from 4-8PM Monday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Family and friends will gather at the church after 10AM Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Mike was born October 10, 1957 in Flint, the son of Bobby and Shirley (Chambers) Eidson. Mike worked as a Graphic Artist and enjoyed working on and admired old cars. He loved Flint History and served his country in the Army. He graduated from Kendall School of Design in Grand Rapids in 1979. He was employed in Houston, Texas with Houston Chronicle and did graphic designing for a medical firm. Surviving are his children: son, Bobby Eidson of Colorado, daughter, Cheyanne Eidson of Mt. Morris and mother of his children, Lucia; mother, Shirley (Gerald) Eidson-Coad; sister, Marsha Mancillas of Swartz Creek; brothers, Steven (Suzanne) Eidson of Canton; Robert (Jennifer) Eidson of Swartz Creek; one niece and eight nephews.. He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Eidson and sister, Lori. The family would like to extend a special thank you to his family at Gross Foster Home of Clio.
