Charles Robert DALE

DALE, Charles Robert, "Chuck" age 70, of Grand Blanc, passed away Friday, January 8, 2010 at Clare Bridge of Grand Blanc surrounded by his family. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11AM Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at Holy Family Catholic Church 11824 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc. Fr. Kenneth Coughlin celebrant. The family will receive friends 10AM Tuesday until time of Mass at church. Visitation will be 12-2PM and 5-9PM Monday at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. In Lieu of Flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Chuck was born July 22, 1939 in Detroit, the son of the late Robert James and Margaret (Krausman) Dale. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserves. Chuck graduated in 1957 from University of Detroit High School, and earned his Bachelor Degree in Science in 1962 from University of Detroit College of Commerce and Finance. He achieved his Master of Business Administration in 1971 from University of Detroit and his Master of Science in Taxation in 1980 from Walsh College. He was employed by Sun Distributors as Chief Financial Officer until retirement. Chuck married Anne Lauraine Warren on March 1, 1997 in Flint. He was a devoted husband and a proud loving father. Surviving are his wife, Lauraine of Grand Blanc; 2 sons, Charles Robert Dale Jr. (Mary) of Barrington, IL, Kevin Michael Dale (LaTonya) of Livonia; daughter, Susan Dale Puechner (Shawn) of Chicago, IL; 5 grandchildren, Lily, Charlie, Cooper, Kameron, Kalyndria; 3 step-children, Joanne Salvati (Frank) of Fenton, Linda Graham (Douglas) of Grand Blanc, Jeffrey Warren of Atlanta, GA; 3 step-grandchildren, Karri Warren, Neil and Laura Graham; 2 sisters, Margaret Stirling and Barbara Alle and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his 2 brothers, Robert and Gary Dale. The family extends many thanks to Avalon Hospice and Clare Bridge of Grand Blanc for their care, love and support.
