Charles Albert Busch

BUSCH, Charles Charlie Albert - age 58, of Swartz Creek, died Saturday, February 17, 2007 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 on Saturday, February 24, at Sharp Funeral Home in Swartz Creek, Chaplain Hank Messing officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00-2:00. Charlie was born September 14, 1948 in Harbor Beach, the son of Roman and Olive (Diehl ) Busch. He married Doreen Wasserman July 24, 1971 and resided in Swartz Creek for the past 30 years. He was an Assistant Vice President and Loan Officer for Republic Bank for the past 15 years. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam war. Charlie was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, camping, kayaking and bicycling. He was a long time member of Ducks Unlimited. He is survived by his wife Doreen; 2 daughters, Jessica of Boston, MA, and Allison of Brooklyn, NY.; mother, Olive Busch of Harbor Beach; 3 brothers, Gary and wife Joanne of Chicago, IL, Fred and wife Gloria of Pigeon, David and Deborah of Harbor Beach; 3 sisters, Clare and husband Richard Polson of Chester, VA, Audrey and husband Delmer Schubring of Townsend, MT, Janice and husband Kevin Fowler of Lansing; mother-in-law, Mary Wasserman of Swartz Creek; 3 brothers-in-law, Ed and wife Connie Wasserman of Flint, Gene and wife Ann Wasserman of Haslett, Jerry and wife Elaine Wasserman of Williamsburg VA and many nieces and nephews. Charlie was a friend to everyone. He was preceded in death by his father, Roman Busch and nephew, Gregory Busch.
