BURNS - Charles Mac, age 73 of Flint, passed away on May 24, 2024. Cremation has taken place and Mr. Burns will be laid to rest, with military honors, at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Charles to the Tunnels to Towers Foundation (wwwt2t.org).

Charles was born on August 13, 1951 in Flint, Michigan to the late William Charles and Betty Joyce Burns. He graduated from Flint Central High School and went on to serve our country with the United States Marines. Charles enjoyed comedy, reading, fishing and he cherished the time spent with his family and friends.

He is survived by his siblings, Joyce (Wayne) Mason and William M. (Sandra) Burns. Nieces and nephews, Michael VanDorne; Laura (Nick) Murphy; Carissa (Cory) Worthington; Randy Tolliver: Rebecca Burns; Benjamin Burns. Also surviving are 18 grand nieces and nephews. Charles was preceded in death by his parents; aunts; uncles.
