Charles Joseph BIRT

BIRT, Charles Joseph - Age 62 of Swartz Creek, died Friday, March 14, 2014 at his residence. Funeral mass will be celebrated 10 AM Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 4413 Morrish Road, Swartz Creek, Fr. Nate Sokol celebrant. Burial will take place at Mt. Loretto Cemetery in Lapeer. Visitation will be held from 12 - 4 PM and from 5 - 8 PM Monday, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, where a rosary will be prayed at 7 PM. Memorial donations may be made to the family. Charles was born July 15, 1951, in Mercer Ohio, the son of Doyle and Mary Jane Birt. He married Karen (Barthlow) in Las Vegas NV on April 3, 1983. Mr. Birt had a Master's Degree and worked in Marketing at Citizens Bank. He was also a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Surviving are: wife Karen; children Wendy, Kenny, Andy, Benjamin, Nicholas, Zachary, Isabelle and Nathaniel; grandchildren Mollie, Cody, Alex, Chase, close friends Joe Pascal and Rich Arakelian, as well as brothers Ronnie (Cindy) Birt, Alan (Pepper) Birt, and sister Jeanette (Bill) Muhlenkamp.
