Charles Bales

BALES, Charles Robert "Bob" - Age 51, of Auburn Hills, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2022.  Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek (A live stream of the service will be available on Charles obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com).  Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday from 1-4 and 6-8 PM.  In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to a charity of your choice in Bob's name.

Bob was born March 12, 1971 in Flint, the son of Charles Wayne and Betty (Christian) Bales.  He was a 1989 graduate of Carman Ainsworth High School where he was a member of the varsity snow ski team.  He had resided in Auburn Hills since March of 2022 formerly of Ferndale.  He was employed in software sales for many years.  Charles enjoyed golfing, hiking, fishing, boating, kayaking, snow skiing, and spending time with his family and friends.

Surviving are: his parents, Charles and Betty Bales of Flint Township; sisters, Joanna (Lyle) Reynolds of Flint and Vickie (Ryan) Jager of Los Angeles, CA; nieces and nephews, Briana, Devyn, Jack, Eloise, and Sanai; uncle, Myron Christinan (Linda Prince) of Flushing; aunt, Kay (Jimmy) Johns of Grand Blanc; aunt, Karen (Jim) Edwards; cousins, Katie (Keith) Clark of Arizona, Lisa (Jodi) Christian of Arizona, Tracie (Zack) Plaut of California, Jimmy (Jessica) Christian of Grand Blanc, and Barb Christian (Nick Murray) of Illinois, Doug Bales, Sherrie Gaboury, and Debbie.
