Charles Baldwin

Baldwin, Charles Theodore - Age 77, of  Flint Township, died May 19, 2023. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel,  8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek (The funeral may be viewed by livestream at Charles' page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Visitation will be held 12 - 2 PM Wednesday May 24.

Charles was born September 1, 1945 in Frederic, Michigan, the son of Winfred Lyle Baldwin and Mary Catherine (Fletcher) Baldwin. Charles served in the U.S. Army, Airborne Division (cook). He retired from General Motors with many years of service. He enjoyed being a Scout leader for many years. He enjoyed  building things with wood. He loved spending time seeing movies with his grandchildren and this became a family tradition. They had seen every superhero movie together.

Surviving are: five children, Stacy (Michael) Cataldo, Tanya (Homer) Crane, Matt (Holly) Baldwin, Jason (Sheridan) Baldwin, Melissa (Steven) Gustafon; step-children, Dale (Jennifer) Girard, Cindy (Jerry) Hubbard, Sue Waskoski, Connie (Randy) Smith; twenty nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Kathryn Atkins; nieces and nephews; special friends, Midge and Jess. He was preceded in death by his parents; step-daughter, Peggy Dow; brother, Anthony "Tony" Baldwin; granddaughter Christina Hoss; great granddaughter Danilynn Baldwin; and wife, Mary on May 10, 2023.
