Charles Adkins

Adkins, Charles Neal "Charlie" - Age 73, of Burton, died October 18, 2022. Services will be held 12 PM Wednesday October 26 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc (The service may be viewed by live stream at Charlie's page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Committal services at  Great Lakes National Cemetery 4200 N. Belford Rd. Holly. Visitation will be held 10 AM until the time of service at 12 PM Wednesday, October 26. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to Mundy Township Commons. Charlie was born March 29, 1949 in Gideon, Missouri, the son of Charlie 'Edgar" and Hazel (Miller) Adkins. He was a 1967 graduate of Northwestern High School. He was a military police officer for The United States Army where he was stationed in Fort Wainwright, Alaska. Charlie married Pamela Hatchard on April 3, 1973 in Flint. He worked for General Motors for 38 years. Charlie loved to hunt and was an avid Harley Davidson rider. He is survived by his wife of 49 years Pamela Adkins; daughters, Kimberly (Jason) St. Marie, Heather (Aaron) Hamann; granddaughters, McKenna and Hadley Hamann, Jenna and Rileigh St. Marie; sisters, Shirley (Norm) Montpas, Cindy (Frank) Cherveny; brother in-law, Ronald Hatchard; a niece and 3 nephews.
