STARKEY, Charlene Roberta - Age 68, of Fenton, died October 10, 2016. Services will be held 3 PM Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Diabetes Association. Charlene was born October 21, 1947 in Flint, the daughter of Charles Robert and Donna Catherine (Bruce) Gray. She was married to Albert "Danny" Starkey on June 13, 1964 in Linden; he preceded her in death on August 8, 2016. Mrs. Starkey was a lifetime member of Fenton VFW Post #3243. She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved unconditionally. Her children and grandchildren were her life. Surviving are: children, Charles Robert Starkey, Brenda Jo Kissane (Michael Young), Catherine Ione (Andy) Osentoski; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Douglas (Aurea) Gray; sisters, Deborah Gray, Sherry Lynn Crawford; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Albert; son-in-law, Michael Kissane; granddaughter, Brandi Jo Starkey.
