Charlene Dunavan

Dunavan, Charlene Ruth - Age 81, of Flint, died May 1, 2022. Celebration of Life will be held 12-4 PM Saturday, May 28 at VFW Post 822,  5065 Saginaw St. Flint. Charlene was born February 5, 1941 in Holly, the daughter of Charles Eggbert and Ruth F. (Jarvis) Wakeman. She married Donald Everett Dunavan on October 17, 1981 in Fenton. Charlene was a graduate of Fenton High School. She worked at Flint VFW 822 and then Davison VFW. She was very active with the VFW. Charlene is survived by her husband Donald of 41 years; 8 children, DeVonna (Jeffery) Irwin of Ottawa Lake, Karl Wakeman, Leon (Kimberly) Lacy of North Carolina, Tony (Tammie) Breecher of Ohio, Donald (Tara) Dunavan of Durand, Scott Lacy of Flint, Candy (Chris) Spencer of Ohio; 28 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
