Charleen Miller-Holt

Miller-Holt, Charleen Ann "Char"- Age 89, of Swartz Creek, passed November 21, 2015. Funeral mass will be celebrated 10 AM Tuesday, November 24 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Swartz Creek, Fr. Louis Ekka celebrant. Interment in Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Monday at Sharp Funeral Homes, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek; and 9-10 AM Tuesday at church. Those desiring may make contributions to the Swartz Creek Fine Arts Association, St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, or the Alzheimers Association. Charleen was born August 29, 1926 in Solan Township Michigan the daughter of Frank Maxmillan Stefaniak and Lizzie (Rosinski) Stefaniak. She was a graduate of St. Michaels High School and a resident of Flint and Swartz Creek most of her life. She was married to W. Louis Miller on February 7, 1948 in Flint; he preceded her in death September 9, 1988. She was then married to Ray Holt on July 23, 1993 in Swartz Creek. Charleen was the assistant Librarian at Swartz Creek Middle School and retired after 28 years of service. She was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church and an active resident of the Swartz Creek Community. Surviving are: husband Ray Holt; two sons Donald Louis Miller of Bloomfield Hills, Paul Douglas Miller (Elizabeth) of Minnesota; grandchildren, Donald Louis Miller Jr. (Amanda) of Bloomfield Hills, Abigail Young Miller of Bloomfield Hills, Emily Marie Erogul (John) of Nevada, James Ford Miller of Minnesota, Chloe Diane Miller of Minnesota; three great-grandsons, Landon and Luke Miller of Bloomfield Hills, and Hudson Erogul of Nevada; brother-in-law, Carl Southward; daughter-in-law Barbara Young Miller; many nieces and nephews; and Ray's children and grandchildren, who meant so much to her. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Louie Miller; sisters Christine Dipman and Betty Southward; and three brothers, Ambrose, Frank, and Phil Stefaniak.
