Charlcie "Pat" C. Newell

NEWELL, Charlcie C. "Pat" - Age 94, of Linden, passed away November 7, 2023. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Sunday, November 12, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Visitation will be held from 12PM until the time of service. Charlcie was born April 10, 1929 in Black Oak, AR, the daughter of Charlie and Beatrice (Craig) Jones. She married Carl Newell on February 23, 1946 in Arkansas. Pat owned and operated CC Newell Monogramming for many years. She also taught Upholstery for Swartz Creek Community Education for over 30 years. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and a former member of the Order of Eastern Star. She is survived by her grandchildren, Stacie Ward, Amanda Miller, Don Miller III, Heather Newell, Nickolas (Daisy) Newell, Cody Newell and Tyler Newell; great-grandchildren, Brent Roberts, Megan Roberts, Nika Heard, Rraina Charlcie Newell, Andreas Newell, Marcellus Bell, Delilah Newell, Leia Newell, Dani Newell, Michael Newell; sister, Alberta Griffin; daughter-in-law, Peggy Haddon Newell; special friend, Cynthia Torrey-Kinne. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl; children, Larry Newell, Janette Miller and Nelse Newell.
