Chad Gipson

GIPSON, Chad Allen- Age 48, of Holly, died Monday, December 25, 2017. Funeral services will be held 3PM Saturday, December 30, 2017, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road Chapel, Swartz Creek. Pastor Mark Cox Officiating. Visitation will be held 12PM until time of service on Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the family c/o Sharp Funeral Homes. Chad was born September 25, 1969 in Flint, the son of Dallas H. and Susan K. (Pruett) Gipson. He married Shelley McConkie on July 16, 2005 in Burton. Chad was a great handyman and could fix anything. He loved working with his hands, nature and hunting. Chad was a self employed carpenter for many years. Surviving are: wife Shelley Gipson of Grand Blanc; children, son, Jay Gipson of NC, step-son Jeffrey Kimball of Grand Blanc; step-daughter, Hannah Kimball of Grand Blanc; daughter, Madelyn Gipson of Grand Blanc; parents, Dallas and Susan Gipson of Lapeer; siblings, Bryan (Cecila) Gipson of Whitmore Lake, Joanna (Mark) Taylor of Greenwood and many nieces and nephews.
