YORKO, Cecilia R.  Age 90, of Swartz Creek, died July 31, 2005 at her residence. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11A.M. Thursday, August 4, 2005 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Swartz Creek with Fr. Amos Wischmeyer celebrant. Interment will follow at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be held 6-9PM Tuesday and 12-9PM Wednesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. A Rosary will be prayed a 6PM Wednesday at the funeral home.  Mrs. Yorko was born October 26, 1914 the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Madaj) Dmoch in Toledo, Ohio. She married John J. Yorko on August 8, 1936 at All Saints Catholic Church in Flint and he preceded her in death on December 24, 2002.  Mrs. Yorko worked for AC Spark Plug during World War II. She attended All Saints Catholic School and Flint Northern High School. She was currently a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church where she had served as President and member of the CCW Altar Society for many years. Mrs. Yorko enjoyed knitting and crocheting, as well as, watching sports. Surviving are 2 daughters, Marilyn and husband Dennis Miner, Kathleen and husband Greg Arnett all of Swartz Creek; grandchildren, Maj. John R. Miner and fiancâ?se, Katrina Reiley, Maj. Courtney L. and husband Maj. Eduardo Castaneda, Denise C. Miner, Bradley D. Arnett, Teresa M. and husband Scott Ross, Michael E. Arnett and fiancâ?se, Carmen Ogrisko; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth D. Miner, Noah Reiley, Elena L. Castaneda, Gabriela I. Castaneda and great-grandchildren to be; brother, Steve Dmoch of Flushing; sister, Dorothy Lucas of Swartz Creek; many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, John, Tony, Frank, Walter, Robert and Ray; sisters, Justine and Peggy and her parents.
