Cecile F. LeBarr

LaBarr, Cecile F.  Age 88, of Flint, died Saturday, June 4, 2005 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, June 8, 2005 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel with Pastor Paul Christenson officiating. Interment will follow at Glenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-9 PM Monday and from 2-4 and 6-9 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. LaBarr was born June 6, 1916 in Ellsworth, MI, the daughter of Frank and Nettie (Wardwell) Walker. She married Walter E. LaBarr on May 28, 1943 and he preceded her in death on May 2, 1961. Mrs. LaBarr was employed by Flint Welding Supply in administration. Surviving are: two daughters, Mary and husband, Marlin Harvill of Noblesville, IN, Sandra and husband, William Miller of Swartz Creek; son, Barrett LaBarr and good friend, Jan March of Port Charlotte, FL; grandson, John Huffman and wife, Connie; granddaughter, Alisa Miller; great-granddaughter, Gabrielle Sauce; two great-great-granddaughters, Donna and Madeline Sauce; three brothers, Don, Ron and Mike Walker; sister, Joyanne Cook; many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by: her daughter, Carol Lynn LaBarr on November 2, 1972; four sisters, Ethel McNiece, Ellen Rowe, Lela Goldman, Cara Francetic; brother, Ira Walker.
