Cecil Hubbard

HUBBARD,  Cecil, age 89 of Flint Twp., died Tuesday, October 24 at home.  Cecil was born in Wheller, Virginia on October 13, 1917 and has lived in the Flint area since 1955.  He and Hazel Mosley were married on April 21, 1950 and she survives.  Cecil had been emploiyed by General Motors V-8 Manufacturing for 25 years and retiring in 1980.  He enjoyed  his garden and working in his yard.  Surviving is his loving wife, Hazel, his son, Russell Hubbard, his daughter, Jewel Henderson, both of Flint.  Further survivors are 8 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchldren, 2 great-great grandchildren and 3 sisters. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, October 26, 2006 at the Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc, Twp.  Pastor Steve Wood will officiate and burial will follow in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M.
