Cathy Louise Utter

UTTER, Cathy Louise - Age 72, of Holly, passed away August 2, 2024. A celebration of life will be held from 11AM-2PM on Sunday, September 29, 2024 at Fenton Community &Cultural Center, 150 S. Leroy St., Fenton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the animal charity of one's choice. Cathy was born January 2, 1952 in Flint, the daughter of the late Joseph and Ruth (Briestmeister) Motto. She retired from Fenton High School, where she was a Guidance Counselor for many years. Cathy was an active member of Fenton Kiwanis. She was an avid lover of animals and enjoyed gardening. She is best described as a kind and generous soul. She is survived by her son, Paul (Amber) Utter; brother, Bruce Motto; sister, Liz (Andy) Mavis; step-children, Tana (Scott) Lloyd, Roseanne (Pat) Sinke, Shari (David) Smith and many other extended family members.
