Catherine King

King, Catherine "Cathy" Jean - Age 63, of Fenton, passed away November 20, 2019. She was born March 10, 1956 in Pontiac, the daughter of Burnell Anthony and Betty June (Slaughter) King. Cathy enjoyed quilting, gardening, spending time with her family and animals. She had a passion for giving, always thinking of others before herself. Cathy loved trying new things. She encouraged everyone to live their best lives and enjoy the opportunities this world presents. Surviving are: her son Joseph Szpond (Nicholeigh Drake) of Mason; and sister Cindy King. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Michael "Mickey" King; and sister Pat King. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday, November 25 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Interment will be 1 PM Monday at Lakeview Cemetery, 6150 White Lake Rd., Clarkston. Visitation will be held 2-7 PM Sunday, and 10 AM until the time of service Monday.
