BROWN, Catherine Louise - age 81, of Grand Blanc, died August 15, 2014. In lieu of a formal service, family and friends will gather at Little Joe's Restaurant in Grand Blanc for an informal celebration of Cathy's life on Friday, September 5, 2014 between 4-7PM. Cathy was born February 3, 1933 in Flint, the daughter of Maitland and Laura (Hill) Burd. She was a graduate of Grand Blanc High School. Cathy retired from St. Joseph Hospital. She is survived by daughters, Pamela (Clyde) Cunningham, Susan (Kirk) Alderson, Sally Johnson, Bethany (Richard) Schempp; 16 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Charles Brown; daughter, Brenda Burke; father of her children, Leslie Brown; sister, Mary Webb.
