BRAHCE, Catherine ?Kay? Reid (Anderson)? 78, concluded her courageous battle  with heart disease Friday, July 6, 2007 at U of M Hospital, Ann Arbor, surrounded by her loving family.  A memorial service will be held at Sharp Funeral Home, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, (MI)  Sunday July 15.  The family would like friends to help them celebrate her life from 5:00 PM until the time of the service at 7:00 PM. Kay?s favorite colors were pink, purple, and blue. Friends are encouraged to wear happy colors, reflecting her colorful personality and beauty.  She was born January 10, 1929 in Scituate, MA, the daughter of James A and Doris (Wilson) Anderson.  Kay and Jack met in 1948 in Wellesley Hills, MA., dated for 2 years, and were married June 18th, 1950 in Cohasset, MA. They were together for 59 wonderful years.  Kay worked at home taking care of her family, was church financial secretary and bookkeeper for the family business.  She enjoyed her family and friends, loved flowers, the cabin, her kitty Mac, music, the scent of air dried laundry and was known for her laughter and uncanny ability to keep anything clean.  Surviving are: husband Jack; four children, David of Perry, Dennis and wife Kelly of Durand, Janeen and husband Brian of Aurora, IL, Jack of Lansing; six grandchildren, whom she loved dearly, Justin, Jessica, Jamie, Kristie and fiancé Scott Atkinson, Bryan and Paul; brother, Arthur and wife Gail Anderson of MA  and many nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Doris; and brother, James. Floral arrangements for the service are encouraged.  The family has decided to create a memorial flower garden.
