ANKNEY, Catherine Grace -- Age 86 of Kearsley died Thursday, November 12, 2015. Funeral services will be held 1:30PM on Monday, November 16, 2015 in the chapel at Flint Memorial Park, 9506 N Dort Hwy, Mt Morris. Pastor Waren Berry officiating. Services provided by Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Catherine was born May 3, 1929 in Clio, the daughter of Everet and Marie (Hutchinson) Murdock. She married Warren C. Ankney on August 12, 1950 in Flint and they resided in Kearsley. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, playing BINGO and loved spending time with family. She is survived by her son, Robert Ankney, grandchildren; Jeffrey (Lindi) Saylor, Jason (Catherine) Saylor, Shirley (Trulin) Saylor, great-grandchildren; Haley (Sam), Logan, Kadance, Jase, Athenna, Jacob, Caleb, Gabe, Kaylee, Ariella and Heavyn. Preceded in death by husband, Warren, her parents Everet and Marie, and daughter Wanda.
