Catherina Salvati- Rinaldi

SALVATI-RINALDI, Catherina "Cathy"- Age 62, of Grand Blanc, died Sunday, December 26, 2021. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Thursday, December 30, 2021 at St. Mark Catholic Church, 7296 Gale Road, Grand Blanc (A live stream will be available at stmarkgoodrich.org). Fr. David Howell officiating. Entombment in the mausoleum at Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc from 3-8 PM and at Church Thursday from 10 AM until the time of Mass. A vigil service will be held 7:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Mark Catholic Church.

Cathy was born April 1, 1959 in Detroit, the daughter of Serafino and Silvana (Evangelisti) Salvati. She was a 1977 graduate of Grand Blanc High School. She had resided in Grand Blanc since 1976 coming from Detroit. She was employed by McLaren Flint as a Food Service Manager; she also had worked for many years at her families business, Sam's Italian Restaurant in Rankin. She was a member of APA Pool League and Shiawassee Hog Chapter. Cathy also attended St. Mark Catholic Church.

Surviving are: her daughters, Stephanie Rinaldi (Alex Moen) of Davison and Daniela Heath of Saginaw; grandchildren, Jake, Gabriella, and Parker; mother, Silvana Salvati of Grand Blanc; brother, Frank (Joanne) Salvati of Swartz Creek; nieces, Karri (Mario) Guerene of Brighton, Samantha Salvati of Tennessee, and Alecia (David) Henderson of Arizona; best friend, Doris Walker of Davison; her four legged companion, Zeus; and several aunts, uncles, and cousin.
