Casimir Mowinski

MOWINSKI, Casimir D. - Age 73, of Linden, died September 28, 2020. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10AM Saturday, October 3, 2020 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton. Fr. Robert Copeland Celebrant. Entombment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Friday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton where a rosary will be prayed at 7 PM Friday. Visitation will also be held from 9AM until the time of Mass Saturday at church. Casimir was born January 26, 1947 in Hamtramck, the son of Casimir J. and Regina Clara (Rochna) Mowinski. He was a graduate of Lawrence Technological University. He was a wood and clay model maker for 15 years at Fisher Body and later retiring as an engineer from General Motors. Casimir loved hunting, Labrador Retrievers, woodworking and cabinetry. He is survived by his wife, Marlene; children, Shelly Mowinski, Matthew (Megan) Mowinski, Michael (Erin) Mowinski; grandchildren, Charlotte, Maverick, Eli, Milena and Evan; many cousins, friends and his Lab, Tammy.
