Caryl Margaret ADAMS

ADAMS, Caryl Margaret - age 87, of Fenton, died Monday, September 13, 2010 at Caretel Inns of Linden. A memorial service will be held 12 PM Saturday, January 22, 2011 at St. Jude Episcopal Church, 106 E. Elizabeth St., Fenton with Pastor Josh Hoover officiating. Mrs. Adams was born April 22, 1923 in Detroit, the daughter of George R. and Dorothy Ballard (Ashlee) Johnson. She married William A. "Bud" Adams on July 16, 1944 and he preceded her in death in 1973. Mrs. Adams retired from Flint Parking Associates as a comptroller. She was a member of St. Jude Episcopal Church and a former member of the American Legion, the Royal Quarter and Flint Quota Club for 35 years. Mrs. Adams loved her dogs and barber shop quartets. Surviving are: daughter, Susan A. and husband, Jack Meyers of MA; son, William C. and wife, Gay Southwick Adams of Fenton; seven grandsons, Kyle and Tyler Adams, Christian and Douglas Winn, Paul, Jeff and Jason Meyers; six great-grandchildren; brother, Frank Hester of Grand Blanc; several other nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by: her parents; two brothers, George and Robert Johnson; niece, Kelly and husband, George Kenders.
