HUDSON, Carson Howard, Jr. - Age 82, of Swartz Creek, passed away Thursday, January 16, 2025. Services will be held 1:00 PM, January 25, 2025 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton (The service will be live streamed and can be viewed directly below his obituary here). Deacon Ron Kenney officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Saturday from 11 AM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to the Wounded Warriors Project.
Carson was born May 19, 1942 in Flint, the son of Carson Howard, Sr. and Eileen (Yauch) Hudson. He was a 1960 graduate of Bendle High School. He was a Vietnam Veteran, serving in the U.S. Marine Corp. He married Alice Fay Pyles December 16, 1961 in Flint. He had resided in Swartz Creek for the past 5 years coming from Gladwin/Linden. He retired from GM as a truck driver after 33 years of service. He was a member of U.A.W. Local #659. He enjoyed hunting (especially rabbit hunting), fishing, motorcycles and his dogs.
Surviving are: his wife of 63 years, Alice; sons, Greg (Dawn) Hudson of Linden, Eric (Cheryl) Hudson of Fenton and Dan (Bev) Hudson of Pinckney; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; sister, Carleen Marsh of Swartz Creek; brother, Perry (Kate) Hudson of Chicago, IL; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carson and Eileen Hudson; sister, Joyce Foster. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
