Carolyn Brenodene Stafford

STAFFORD, Carolyn Brenodene - Age 88, of Howell, passed away July 17, 2024. Carolyn was born January 4, 1936 in Plymouth, the only child of Wilbur Albert and Minnie Jane (Curtis) Hill. She married Robert William Stafford on September 14, 1956. He preceded her in death in 2005. Carolyn was a graduate of University of Michigan and remained a lifelong U of M Football fan. She taught elementary school and later became a Coordinator for Head Start in Genesee County. She compiled a children's activity book with her husband and, following retirement, she traveled across the country selling children's books at conferences. She is survived by her children, Cynthia Ann Stafford and Gregory Scott (Barbara Anne Morton) Stafford; and many dear cousins. A memorial service will be held 11AM Saturday, August 3, 2024 at Arise United Methodist Church, 11211 Dexter-Pinckney Rd., Pinckney.
