Carolyn Mccoon

McCoon, Carolyn Jean - Age 93, of Lapeer, died March 27, 2021. No public services are planned at this time. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center,  6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc. Carolyn was born May 22, 1927 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of LeRoy McEmber  and Pearl  (Faulkner) McEmber. Carolyn was a graduate of Flint Central High School.  She married Jack D. McCoon on April 1, 1960 in Leesburg, Virginia; he preceded her in death December 12, 2000. She worked in the billing department for A.C. Spark Plug retiring in 1987 with 41 years of service. She was a member of the IBG's Retirees Ten or More Club. Carolyn enjoyed traveling, bowling and gambling with the girls. Surviving are: son Joel (Debra) McCoon of Lapeer; grandson, Jay (Jessica) McCoon; granddaughter Amanda McCoon (Will Otero); great-grandchildren, Kaydence and Hailey McCoon, Viktor and Dimitri Otero; brother Roger McEmber; step-children, John (Carol) McCoon, Ruth Logan, John McCoon, Jonna McCoon; many loved nieces and nephews.
