Carolyn Butler

BUTLER, Carolyn (Bowers) - Age 75, of Swartz Creek, died Friday, May 8, 2020. Private burial will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek.

Carolyn was born on October 13, 1944, in Wilkesboro, North Carolina, the daughter of Lester and Ruth (Daye) Bowers. Carolyn worked for 10 years at General Motors, where she met and married Robert Butler. Soon after, she left GM to dedicate herself fulltime to raising their family. Carolyn enjoyed nothing more than being surrounded by her family.

She is survived by her three children, Tim and wife Cris, Kristi and husband Jim, Bobby and wife Amanda; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, with one on the way; brother, Tonnie Bowers; and sister, Rebecca Manning.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Butler; parents, Lester and Ruth Bowers; and special dog, Pudge.
