KAWA, Carole Joanne, -- age 75, of Auburn Hills, We are sad to say, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2013. She was born to the late Donald Orville Miller and Eunice Velma Wolfe on December 6, 1937.Carole is survived by her brother, Fred Miller, and her two sisters Dorothy Zacharski and Mary-Ann Crandall. She also leaves behind her 6 children, Joanne Donaski (Frank), Michael Kawa, Katherine Kawa (Hisham), Linda Belbeck (Daniel), Karen Caldwell (Steven), William Kawa and 14 grand-children, Kristine O'Connor (Terry), Shayna Vincent, Robert Phillips, Jacob Mosher, Ayrton Webb, Matthew Vincent, Jordan Mosher, Leah Webb, Amanda Mosher, Brittany Kawa, Kaytlin Kawa, Alexander Donaski, Kearstin Kawa, and Madison Caldwell. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Frank Miller; brother-in-law, Edwin "Bud" Zacharski. Carole requested a small mass funeral at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 715 N. Lapeer Rd., Lake Orion. It will be held 11 AM Monday, May 20, 2013, Fr. Stephen Pullis celebrant. The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for her during her last few months. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Flowers will be accepted at the church Monday morning.
