WHITE, Carol Joy "Babi" - age 87, of Linden passed away, March 14, 2025. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton, MI 48430 with Rev. Fr. Robert Copeland celebrant. Visitation will be held 3-7 PM Monday, March 17, 2025 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, MI 48430 where a rosary will be prayed at 7 PM Monday. Visitation will also be held from 10 AM - 11 AM Tuesday at the church. Burial will take place 10:30 AM Wednesday at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, next to her husband. In lieu of flowers the family would prefer door wreaths to be sent to the funeral home or contributions to National Kidney Foundation (www.kidney.org). Carol was born December 7, 1937 in Flint, the daughter of Jack and Cecilia (Bartosik) Lawrence. She married Harold E. White, Sr. on August 20, 1955 and he preceded her in death on August 6, 2010. Babi was a loving wife, mother, grandma and truck driver. She was an avid sports fan both professional and collegiate. Surviving are: four children, Gina (Dennis) Wibert, Harold E. (Mary) White, Jr., Colleen Bradley (Dennis Sharp), Curtis E. White, Sr., First Sergeant USAF (Ret.); grandchildren, Michael A. (Jen) Martin, Thomas E. Martin Chief Warrant Officer 3, Harold E. (Lisa) White III, Philip H. (Audrey) White, James W. O'Bryant, Jr., David W. (Becky) O'Bryant, and Curtis E. White, Jr.; 21 great-grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren; step-grandson, Kevin Wibert; brother-in-law, Jim (Janelle) White; sister-in-law, Glenda Tower and many nieces, nephews, and other family. She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Lawrence; mother, Cecilia Hewitt; step-father, Robert F. Hewitt; husband, Harold E. White, Sr.; brother, Thomas Lawrence; step-sister, Jeanette Bradbury.
