Carol Kiniry

KINIRY, Carol Ann - Age 71, of Flint, passed away July 21, 2021. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek.

Carol was born May 4, 1950 in Bellows Falls, VT , the daughter of Daniel Joseph and Virginia Lee (Glover) Kiniry. She graduated from Swartz Creek High School and spent years working as an Accountant/Bookkeeper for several businesses as well as owning TJ’s Hair, Etc.  She found the greatest joy in her last occupation as a Supported Employment Job Coach where she provided one-on-one training and support for individuals with development disabilities or mental impairment helping them to maximize employment potential and even start their own businesses.  If she wasn’t hard at work she could be found enjoying gardening in her backyard and listening to music and she was always one to turn even the smallest task into a fun adventure.  She loved to share stories of her travels and was keen to make lasting memories to anyone she encountered.

Carol is survived by: sister Linda (Ben) Henry; nieces, Melanie (Scott) Friesorger, Michele (Scott) Casey, and Heather (Eric) Wilkins; great nieces and nephews, Brad Harry, Melissa Harry, Alex Michael, Ahna School, Amelia Kiniry Wilkins; and many great great nieces and nephews.
