Carol Houser

HOUSER, Carol Ann (Haughton) Age 67 died Tuesday, May 19, 2015. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held 11:30 AM Saturday, May 30 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Visitation will be 11 AM until time of service. Carol was born in Flint, Michigan September 15, 1947 to parents Donald and Jari Haughton. She grew up in the Flint area, attending Flint schools. She graduated from Flint Central in 1965. She also attended Mott Community College, receiving an Associate of Arts degree. Carol was retired from the retail sales industry, holding managerial positions at several Jacobson's Department stores throughout Michigan, Ohio, and Kentucky, and managing Coldwater Creek stores in Lansing and Livonia. Carol is survived by dear friend Kenneth Richards of Flint, son Chip (Rachael) Houser and grandson Christopher of Freeland, sister Linda (Kevin) Markle of Utica, and nephew Tim (Juan) Markle and great-nephew Eli of Troy. Carol also leaves many close friends to treasure her memory. Carol was pre-deceased by her parents, Donald and Jeri Haughton.
